Language, Spelling & Grammar Conventions
We use American English Spelling conventions.
If you’re from a former English colony that’s not America, that means a ‘Z’ where you think an ‘S’ should go in words like “organization” and “realize”.
It also means there’s no “U” in the word “color”, etc.
We Capitalize Story Titles.
E.g.: How To Stay Human in the Digital Era: A Series of Fortunate Tips for Shaping the Next Generation
We serve a global audience, and we’re aware that English is not everybody’s first language.
We are not Grammar Tyrants, as a publication. Our Editors ask—
“What improvements can I make here to ensure this story is generally understood?”
“How can this person possibly not know the difference between your and you’re ?”
